Silt fencing, pot holes, watering of yards from the lake and trees being dumped in the lake were all topics of conversation. The winter was very hard on the roads this year and if you have a particular bad stop, please call the Ahrens family and they will get to the most dangerous problems first.
Tunnel – Barbie Ahrens: Barbie stated that the tunnel is 4’ wider, 1-1/2’ taller and 7’ – 9’ deeper. The incline was not planned to be as steep as it is and the owner of the company is not happy as well. He assured that it will be amended somehow. Slow signs should be installed. There still are some things to do as far as hard surfacing in that area and guard rails. Pricing is currently being obtained.

He also mentioned one plant died and the nursery has one on order to replace it. He also received a proposal from Hackert to remove the existing fencing around the area and replace it with boulders and other stone. This came to $14,146.00.
